Artemis Advocacy provides legal services to Indigenous governing authorities, values-led organizations, and individuals across a mixed practice. My work includes Indigenous legal orders and Aboriginal law; cultural stewardship and creative rights; constitutional and administrative law; non-profit, charity, and business law and governance; agreements and organizational relationships; privacy and information governance; employment and human rights; wills, estates, and estate litigation; and civil dispute resolution and litigation.
Across these areas, I provide strategic legal counsel in matters that often involve overlapping areas of law, multiple decision makers, and high-stakes relationships. I help clients understand their position, make informed decisions about how to move forward, and protect their rights and interests.
How I work
Many legal problems do not fit neatly into a single category. They may involve more than one area of law, more than one decision maker, or more than one important relationship. My practice is oriented toward helping clients navigate that terrain with strong advocacy, sound judgment, and a carefully considered approach.
My work commonly includes:
- Legal advice and risk assessment.
- Policy-aware, values-driven legal strategy.
- Governance support and organizational problem solving.
- Regulatory navigation and compliance.
- Early dispute prevention and resolution.
- Negotiation support and agreement drafting.
The descriptions below are intended to be general in nature and do not limit the scope of legal services I may provide.
